Why It Matters

Health coverage shouldn't require a translator.

Between deductibles, networks, and Medicare's alphabet of parts and plan types, health insurance is confusing by design. Our job is to cut through that — to sit down with you, understand your situation, and explain your real options in plain English.

As an independent brokerage, we're not tied to one insurer. We compare individual health plans and Medicare options across 30+ top-rated carriers, so the recommendation you get is based on what fits you — not what we're incentivized to sell.

No Cost to Talk to Us

A Medicare review or health plan comparison is always free, with zero obligation.

  • Often $0 plan premium (Part B premium still applies)
  • Bundled extra benefits
  • Built-in prescription coverage

Medicaid & Dual-Eligible guidance

We don't sell Medicaid, but we help you find out if you qualify Dual Eligible means qualifying for both Medicare and Medicaid Our goal: help you avoid overpaying for private coverage you don't need
The Alphabet Soup

Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D — explained.

Medicare isn't one plan. It's a system of parts, and knowing what each one covers is the first step to not overpaying.

A

Hospital Insurance

Covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing care, hospice, and some home health care.

B

Medical Insurance

Covers doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services, and durable medical equipment.

D

Prescription Drugs

Covers prescription medications — either standalone or bundled into a Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan.

Part C, "Medicare Advantage," is a private alternative that bundles Parts A, B, and usually D into one plan. We'll help you decide whether Original Medicare + Supplement, or Medicare Advantage, fits your situation better.

Talk to an Advisor
Do you help with Medicare and Medicaid?

Yes. They sound similar but serve different purposes, and we help you understand how each fits your plan.

Medicare is generally for those 65+ or with certain disabilities. We help you navigate the parts (A, B, C, and D) and find Supplement (Medigap) or Advantage plans to cover costs Original Medicare doesn't.

Medicaid is a state and federal program for limited-income families. We don't sell Medicaid, but we often help clients determine if they're "Dual Eligible." Our goal: help you avoid overpaying for private insurance you don't need.

What's the difference between Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage?

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) works alongside Original Medicare, covering the copays and coinsurance it leaves behind, and lets you see any doctor who accepts Medicare. Medicare Advantage replaces Original Medicare with a private plan that often bundles in extra benefits, but typically works through a network.

When can I enroll in Medicare?

Your Initial Enrollment Period starts 3 months before you turn 65 and runs for 7 months total. There's also an Annual Enrollment Period each fall (October 15 – December 7) to change your Medicare Advantage or Part D plan, plus Special Enrollment Periods for certain life events. Medicare Supplement plans have their own separate enrollment rules — we'll walk you through what applies to you.

Do I need a medical exam for health insurance?

Not for Medicare or ACA marketplace plans — those can't deny you for pre-existing conditions. Some supplemental or short-term plans may ask health questions, which we'll walk you through if it's relevant to your situation.
